Military/Transnational/International Issues

Military

Innovania does not have a Military, or conscription for military service at this time.
For related information, see Transnational issues, below.

Transnational Issues

Being located in the United States of America presents several challenges and numerous advantages and opportunities. First, because the nation is physically located within the geographic confines of the U.S., and operates within its laws; second, because the entire national land is subject to the taxing authority of the State of Texas and the U.S.A. Of course public services, including health, education and welfare, infrastructure, military and police protection are available to domestic residents of Innovania who are legal residents of the United States of America.
The issue of independence is both controversial and complicated. Resident Innovanians must abide by the laws and regulations of Innovania, Texas, and the United States of America. Incidentally, the U.S. does not recognize Innovanian passports for foreign travel. Innovanians residing in the U.S. or any other country have dual citizenship.

International Agreements/Treaties

Innovania is currently in the process of applying for membership in the League of MicroNations.
